The O'Connell Group Food grade logistics facility is located in Little Island and Glanmire. The O'Connell Group understands it requires a unique set of standards to ensure health and safety for the end consumer of your product.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HAACP) are implemented to ensure a high level of quality assurance and to avoid any contamination to any food grade product at any stage of our warehousing and transportation operation.

Pest Control, Batch Traceability, Housekeeping and cleaning are all part of the O'Connell Group quality assurance. Control checks are carried out according to detailed standard operating procedures (SOP).

We are experienced temperature control experts. Our modern temperature controlled warehousing facilities provide ambient chilled and frozen storage chambers for storing food products, each with independent refrigeration to meet your specific temperature requirements. A sophisticated alarm system means that we can take immediate action at any time of day if the temperature rises above or falls below the set parameters.
